At the tail end of 2024 the new owner of this 2021 Hyundai Tucson brought his car to us for a Gtechniq Accredited enhancement detail. After three years of use by the previous owner, the car's paintwork was in need of mild correction; the doors and other panels were covered in scratches and swirl marks, making the paintwork appear dull.
The customer's vision was to make the car look as close to new as possible without breaking the bank. We were only too happy to accommodate his requirements with a bespoke detailing package.
This included a safe hand wash and decontamination, single-stage machine polish, followed by the installation of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and EXO V5. These two coatings would ensure the customer could wash the car with ease and maintain the paintwork's new appearance for longer.
Bill and John tackled the polishing with their trusty RUPES machines and the new P&S Rehab - a superb polishing compound that can be used with any polishing pad, no matter which car and type of paint you have to work on.
The combination of these products with Bill and John's paint correction experience, gave exceptional results with reduced work times. This allowed us to meet the deadline as promised to the customer.
All glass received a treatment of Gtechniq G5, which is a hydrophobic coating designed to make wet weather driving safer by repelling rain.
The alloy wheels also received a deep clean and were coated with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour, giving the customer up to 12 months of protection from brake dust and the elements. C5 also allows hassle-free wheel cleaning.
The mats and carpet received a complimentary hoover, the dashboard and trim was also wiped-down to refresh the interior.
When the vehicle was complete it was time to hand it over to the customer, who was over the moon! This could well be the cleanest Hyundai Tucson in the UK.
