Terms and Conditions
By using the Clean and Shiny website (the "Website"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully as they govern your use of the Website and your relationship with Clean and Shiny (UK) Limited ("The Company"). If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Website.
1. Definitions

"The Company": Clean and Shiny (UK) Limited.

"The Customer": Any person, firm, or company placing an order with The Company.

"The Goods": The products or materials offered for sale by The Company.
2. General
2.1. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure the suitability of products before purchase. The Company does not accept liability for any improper use, modification, or resale of the products outside the manufacturer’s specified instructions.
2.2. The Customer must not infringe copyright, alter, or misuse any products purchased. If in doubt, the Customer should seek independent legal advice before use or resale.
3. Ordering from The Company
3.1. Orders are deemed placed when the Customer completes the online checkout process. A confirmation email will be sent, detailing the order. This confirmation does not guarantee acceptance of the order.
3.2. The Company reserves the right to refuse orders at its discretion, including but not limited to the following circumstances:

The goods are out of stock or unavailable.

Payment is not authorized.

The order appears fraudulent.

The Customer has previously attempted to harm The Company's reputation.

There are reasonable grounds to refuse the order.
4. Prices
4.1. All orders are accepted at prices valid at the time of acceptance. Prices are subject to change before dispatch due to increases in direct costs.
4.2. In the event of errors in pricing or product descriptions, The Company reserves the right to correct the error and notify the Customer. If this occurs, the Customer has the right to cancel the order, and The Company will issue a full refund. The Company's liability is limited to the refund amount paid.
5. Delivery
5.1. Delivery charges are shown at checkout and vary based on the Customer’s location and chosen service.
5.2. Delivery dates provided are estimates only. The Company will not be held liable for delays or any consequential loss arising from late delivery.
5.3. The Customer must inspect all goods for damage before signing for delivery. By signing, the Customer acknowledges that the goods were received in good condition. Claims for damage must be submitted in writing within 2 days of receipt.
5.4. If delivery fails due to the Customer’s unavailability, additional charges will apply for redelivery or address changes. These include:

£5 for each additional delivery attempt after two failed attempts.

£25 for returned goods before resending.

£10 for changing the delivery address after dispatch.
5.5. Orders not received within 7 working days of the dispatch confirmation email must be reported immediately.
6. Special Order Items
6.1. Special order items are procured upon request and are subject to longer delivery times. These items cannot be cancelled or returned. By placing a special order, the Customer agrees to these terms.
7. Damage in Transit, Shortages, and Incorrect Items
7.1. The Company will repair or replace damaged goods if notified in writing within 2 days of delivery. Claims for shortages or incorrect items must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt.
7.2. Damaged items must be retained, including packaging, for inspection.
8. Returns and Cancellations
8.1. The Company reserves the right to refuse returns unless agreed upon in advance. Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and suitable for resale. A restocking fee of 20% applies.
8.2. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Proof of dispatch with tracking is recommended. The Company accepts no liability for returned goods until received and signed for.
8.3. Orders can only be cancelled with The Company’s consent. A restocking fee of 15% applies to cancellations.
9. Transfer of Ownership
9.1. Ownership of goods transfers to the Customer only after full payment is received. Until this point, goods must not be pledged, charged, or encumbered in any way.
10. Data Protection
10.1. The Company complies with applicable data protection laws. Customer data will be securely stored and used only for order fulfillment and ongoing product development.
10.2. The Company will not share Customer data with third parties without explicit consent unless required by law.
11. Warranty and Liability
11.1. Goods are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials during the applicable warranty period, either by The Company or the manufacturer.
11.2. Except as stated above, The Company disclaims all other warranties, express or implied. The Company’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective goods at its discretion.
12. Product Images and Descriptions
12.1. Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Variations in color due to monitor settings are not grounds for claims.
13. Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Returns - UK
13.1. Under the WEEE Directive, The Company offers a free take-back service for equivalent items purchased. Returned items must fulfill the same function as the new purchase and must be returned at the Customer’s expense within 28 days. All eligible goods must display the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and be disposed of separately from household waste.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1. The Company’s total liability under these terms and conditions is limited to the total value of the order. The Company will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, or data.
